February Card Kits are ready NOW!

Posted in Uncategorized by - Feb 2, 2009

Goin’ bananas with all the snow and cold? Don’t fret-make some hilarious Monkey Business cards using the newest card kit from Sweet Tooth Scrapbooking-these are easy enough for children and beginner card makers alike. My children loved these papers and I bet yours will too: four cards including three birthday and one “miss you” card. These cards were created using Reminisce’s newest line Monkey Business.

jillibean soup’s line of kraft papers, felt flowers (bean seeds), and journaling spots inspired the five cards in the Krafty Kollection. Three birthday, one thank-you, and one “for you” card are all included in this set:

Cindy was out surfing the net again and found this awesome little company called jillibean soup. We both loved the kraft papers, felt flowers, journaling blocks, and sticker letters-so cool! You will love slurping up all of these tasty little treats. Here is a sneak peak at some of the cards I’ve been cooking up with Cream of Mushroom, Spicy Pumpkin, Cold Raspberry and bean seeds. p1240210 300x225 Krafty Kits JilliBean StyleI was out shopping on Etsy again and found the little owls on Angie Ward’s site-The Artsy Cottage. p1240211 300x225 Krafty Kits JilliBean Stylep1240214 225x300 Krafty Kits JilliBean Style

January 2009 Card Collections, Layout & a Mini-Album

Posted in Uncategorized by - Jan 8, 2009

January has had Cindy and I creating like crazy: we have new layouts, lots of new card collections and a new mini-album and we have more to come in a few weeks. Cindy has put together three new layout kits: one single page layout and two 2-page layouts using Cosmo Cricket, We R Memory Keepers, and Kimberely Poloson’s Letters Home papers and embellishments. Check them all out under “Shop” on the website.

Card collections include kits for boys (4) girls (4), sympathy (3), winter birthday (2), butterfly birthday (3), and VALENTINES! (4)

These collections can all be purchased seperately!

Also, the last eight pictures are of the newest mini-album: It is a 6×6 Bo-Bunny Chipboard book with Kimberely Poloson’s Letter’s Home Collection (there are only a few of these little gems).

Jenni Olson won a package of Imaginisce product a few weeks ago and made a mini album using her zutter bind-it-all and a few of her own embellishments-however all the papers and flowers are from Imaginisce. This is a really fun little book and hopefully you will find some inspiration from her project. Take a Break!

Posted in Uncategorized by - Dec 12, 2008

The last few days I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed with all of the expectations of the Christmas season beginning with commitments at the children’s school to baking cookies, decorating, writing our family Christmas letter, etc. So, I do what I do when I don’t know what else to do. I start organizing and cleaning my scrap stuff. (Oh my, I can shove a lot of stuff into one little corner!)

dscn6569 300x225 Take a Break! I unearthed a couple of page kits I sponged off of Cindy Noesen recently. I’ve attached one for your viewing pleasure. I changed things around a little bit to incorporate the size and number of photos I had. I also rotated the title and used ALL the stickers on the sheet, I didn’t use the die cut photo corners at all. Doing this layout for my son, Charlie’s, album was super easy and quick to put together. In all the caos of the season I honestly felt like I made progress in this little part of my life.chazclose 225x300 Take a Break!dscn6570 300x225 Take a Break! I added a few white number stickers for the year “2008″. I also made the haunted house dimensional but that is pretty hard to tell from my photo (sorry). Charlie was “Harry Potter” for Halloween in case you’re wondering what his costume was.  He said he like the layout.
